Our most popular assembly! Students are entertained and educated by master West & Central African drummers on the technique and purposes of drumming in Africa. The rhythms of the drums are accompanied by dancing interaction with students and staff, resulting in a fun and memorable cultural experience. Appropriate for Preschool through Middle school. 30 to 45 minutes. Cultural PERFORMANCES

Performing in authentic West African costumes, cultural dancers entertain students with traditional movements and explain both the origin and significance of the dances. Popular with multicultural and world festivals at schools. Appropriate for Preschool through Middle school. 35 to 40 minutes. Minimum of four dancers and two drummers all performing in costume ending with interactive dance session ($1200)

African Folktales and Fables PLAYS
|
We share tales from different African cultures and discuss what we've learned from the story. Fun, energetic, interactive stories are a great way to help children understand cultural differences. We arrive at your school with props! Programs are 30 minutes in length. You can work with our storytellers to choose a theme or we can choose for you. One storyteller ($250) / Two Storytellers ($450)
